Čedomir Stanojević, PhD, CTRS
Assistant Professor at Clemson University Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management
I am an interdisciplinary researcher who believes that the modern practice of scientific research and the translation of its findings is a collaborative endeavor.
My research training and expertise have been shaped by ten years of clinical experience working with individuals with disabilities and are grounded within person-centered and strengths-based philosophies. I am committed to research and the development of evidence-based practices that can contribute to positive health outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Research
My ongoing research centers on interventions aimed at elevating the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, specifically exploring the impact of emerging technologies on health outcomes for this population. The core methodologies driving my investigations involve the amalgamation of behavioral observations and physiological recordings while identifying sampling strategies to collect relevant information from the participants. I utilize ecological momentary assessment (EMA) philosophy as the guide in research design and tend to collect participant interaction data in real-time while characterizing variations in behaviors within a participant over time.
Teaching
As an international student and scholar, my teaching philosophy has been formed by the diverse teaching approaches and knowledge- transferring methods I have been exposed to in higher education both in my home country and the United States.
Collaborators
International Research Collaboration is a scientific collaborative endeavor often practiced between individuals, organizations, institutions, or two or more nations who actively participate in advising, sharing information, and discussing ideas through correspondence by various means of communication achieving the common goal of production of new scientific knowledge. (Stanojevic et al., 2022).
Publications and Presentations
My goal as a researcher is to disseminate the findings of my research to the people who can make use of them, thus increasing the reach of evidence. By continuously presenting research data at various conferences and symposiums, I hope to both increase people’s motivation to use and apply evidence.
